Ivana attends Patterson Mill and Janay attends Essex Community College. We have been at NCCS since Pre-school. I am a mortgage processor (my own company) and work from home. My Husband, John, is a Captain with the Maryland State Police and has just this week graduated from the National FBI Academy in Quantico
Jonathan Vangeest – Nomination for Co-Vice President Karen Bloom – Nomination for Secretary Sharon Toland – Nomination for Kindergarten PTF Rep I am the mother of Adam 4th grade and Sarah who is in Kindergarten. This will be our 5th year at NCCS. In the past I have served as room mom, volunteered for several different needs for the school such as door greater, covering in classrooms and lunch aide. I also served on the committee last year and coordinated Staff Appreciation Week. Our family attends Oak Grove Baptist Church. I am a stay at home Mom which I thoroughly enjoy so much because it gives me the opportunity to spend time with my children and serve the school and staff as much as possible. What a joy it is to have such a wonderful school and staff! Kim Gorsuch – Nomination for 1st grade PTF Rep I have been married for 16 years to Rick and we have 2 children, Amanda and Thomas. Amanda is in the 7th grade and attends Fallston Middle School. Thomas is in the 1st grade here at NCCS. Last year I was the room mother for the kindergarten class. Our family attends MT. Zion Methodist Church. I have been involved with the 2-3 year old Pioneer Club group at Mt. Zion for many years. I am currently a stay at home mom. Kim Wriston – Nomination for 1st grade PTF Rep I am a mother of 1 boy who is in first grade. My husband Dean is an Associate Pastor and we together teach classes on marriage and life situations. After working all my life in the insurance arena, I decided in May to take some time off and not work for awhile. I know want to spend more time involved in our son's life and our church obligations. Cindy Arsenault – Nomination for 3rd grade PTF Rep My name is Cindy Arsenault and my daughter Morgan, is in third grade. She has been attending NCCS since she was 3 years old in the preschool program. She also has 5 siblings, 3 in college and 2 in high school. I work part time as a newborn nursery nurse. My husband Rob is a local business owner and works part time in Men's Ministry at Mountain Christian Church, where we have been attending for 9 years. We love being a part of and helping out at NCCS. Kristy O’Neill – Nomination for 3rd grade PTF Rep I am a mother of 2 wonderful girls. Shannon is in 3rd grade and Elaina is in 5th grade. This is our 3rd year at New Covenant. I have served at New Covenant as room mom and worked as an ECP monitor as well as volunteering with many functions. Our family attends Mountain Christian Church where I serve as a large group leader in Mt. Kidmore Children's Ministry. I work part-time as a Registered Nurse and am also certified as a preschool teacher. My husband and I participate in small group Bible Study. My girls and I participate and help lead a small group Bible Study for mothers and daughters. Katy Meade – Nomination for 4th grade PTF Rep Janice Chan – Nomination for 5th grade PTF Rep My name is Janice Chan and I am married to Paul. We have two children in New Covenant, Bailey in 5th grade and Brian in 4th grade. We came to NCCS last year from the public school system. We moved to this area from Virginia Beach 4 years ago when my husband, Paul's job took him to BWI. I was a teacher of children with special needs in California and at this time work with the preschool at New Covenant in the 3 year old program. I was the PTF rep for the third grade last year and we have been members of Harford Community Church for 4 years. Anne Haroun – Nomination for 6th grade PTF Rep. We NEED a 7th Grade PTF rep. Please consider volunteering! Chineta Alford – Nomination for 8a PTF Rep Chineta and her husband Fitzhugh Alford have been a part of the NCCS community for three years, since their son Calvin entered in the sixth grade. She has been a member of St. John A.M.E. Church since birth; where she is currently the Superintendent of the Sunday school and a Trustee. Until her recent election as a Trustee at St. John, she served as a Steward and has served in various other capacities within the church. Chineta is and has been gainfully employed by the State of Maryland for almost 20 years, thus she is not visible at NCCS; but she does not mind serving/working behind the scenes in support of the many activities of the PTF. Jackie Milwicz – Nomination for 8b PTF Rep I am the mother of 3 girls. Caroline 10th grade, Kathryn 8th grade, and Annie 4th grade. We have been at NCCS for 10 years. My husband Stephen is on the board at NCCS. In the past I have served as delegating school nurse, librarian, running coach and room mother. Our family attends Crossroads Community Church where we facilitate a small group. I work part time as a surgical nurse. DeSales Kelly-Eck – Nomination for 9th grade PTF Rep Susan Stewart – Nomination for 10th grade PTF Rep The Stewart’s joined the NCCS family in 2006. Greg and Susan are the proud parents of Ryan (10th grade) and Reid (8th grade). Susan loves the Lord, her husband and her family. She values quality family time, fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ, Bible study and serving others. Susan is a RN and works part-time. Here at NCCS she has served on the committees for hospitality and staff appreciation. Her favorite scriptures… “The LORD is my strength and song…” - Exodus 15:2 and “…I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” - Genesis 15:1
