We need to raise $10,000 for new computers for both the Grammar School and the Upper School and another $10,000 for new science lab equipment for the Upper School. 

Update (as of 6/16): So far, we have now raised just over $13,200 toward our goal.
    (Including over $5,700 in Race for Education Funds!)

Our need is clear: All of our Grammar School teachers are working on old, out-of-date computers that really need to be replaced this summer for next school year.  In addition to that, we really need to add a few more computers to our Upper School computer lab and would also like to make a few computers available for class projects and student use in the Grammar School.  Along with this new computer hardware, we would like to upgrade our school’s software so we’re running Office 2007 on all of our machines.

In the Upper School, our 9th and 10th graders will be taking Biology next year, and we want to be able to teach this class well, with a fully functioning lab component.  We want to buy mobile lab stations and lab supplies, which will be used by all of our Upper School students.

You may get involved in one of two ways:

1. You can give a donation to the technology upgrade project overall and we will use your donation wherever it is most needed.
2. You can donate $750 to buy a new computer for the school.  We would hope to receive 12-15 such gifts that would allow us to purchase the 12-15 computers we would like to buy. 
3. You can donate $1,500 to purchase a mobile lab station.  We hope to purchase 4 of these lab work stations.
